UfaFabrik Berlin, 23-29 April, 2009

Performed in London and Berlin by an international intergenerational company in English and German language versions.

This was the second intergenerational project , in which 1stFramework in London collaborated with ufaFabrik in Berlin. The first project was a performance of Bertolt Brecht's Threepenny Opera in 2001, in cooperation with the English National Opera.

Paradise was an original theatrical production, bringing together people of all ages, social and ethnic backgrounds, in both London and Berlin. People in both London & Berlin gave us their statements on the subject "Paradise", which were then incorporated into the existing play. This resulted in a collage of a wide range of drama, City atmospheres, voices and music in an intercultural image of two European cities and their people.
