"Es war wundervoll! Die Mischung aus deutsch und english ist fantastisch"
"To be in a group but perform alone - what a great idea. The scene from 'Waiting for Godot’ was nice because it was only for me and I thought I was also looking at the tree and thinking what day is today?"

UFA Fabriks Boulevard Festival, 29-30th August 2015

For this production 3rdthought worked with Theater der Erfahrungen, Ron Rosenberg and The Golden Gorkis, Michael Jussens and den weisen Sehern.

The core of the show was its low key intimacy. Audiences of no more than one or two could access each actor's considerable repertoire by handing over a coloured counter:

  • Yellow = Poem
  • Black = Conjuring trick
  • Red = Short story
  • Blue = Joke
  • Green = Good advice.
  • White = Performance

The Berlin version was specially developed with technical assistance from Associate Professor Lt Col (Retd) Dr Keiron Spires QVRM TD, from London South Bank University. Peter Avery, the Creator and Director of invisible People used concepts and techniques from the previous year's 'Exiles' performance to embed performances from UK home based actors into the performance space at ufaFabrik, Berlin. Audiences were thus able to enjoy stories, jokes, poems, scenes from plays and good advice, performed in German or English, by actors in the theatre or from ‘Exiled' housebound performers from their own home.
